Parallel Universes was a course exploring the potential of digital tools as instruments for imagining alternative worlds and constructing new forms of spatial representation. Through digital experimentation, students developed speculative environments and visual compositions that moved between the abstract and the spatial, using emerging technologies not simply to represent architecture, but to generate new spatial imaginaries and question conventional modes of architectural representation.

The course approached digital space as a territory for experimentation, exploring different scales, atmospheres, geometries, and spatial conditions. Students developed individual visual languages through processes of abstraction, transformation, and recombination, allowing architecture to emerge through processes that do not necessarily begin with a physical building.

Parallel Universes ultimately proposed digital experimentation as a form of architectural research, using image-making, spatial speculation, and world-building to explore how emerging technologies can expand the disciplinary imagination and create new ways of thinking about space
