We live in a globalised world where, through hyperconnectivity, information is constantly produced, circulated, and stored across an increasingly dense network. But can we move beyond the image as a form of immediate visual information? What distinguishes an image from a memory or a postcard? And what can a graphic document represent beyond what it simply shows?

MOMENTUM emerged as a response to an environment in which the potential of images is increasingly reduced to their rapid and ephemeral consumption. Conceived as a reaction to the overwhelming quantity of images and information circulating online, the magazine proposes a slower and more selective approach to visual culture. Each issue brings together carefully chosen personal references, allowing images to operate not merely as illustrations, but as vehicles for memory, interpretation, and critical thought. Through this process, MOMENTUM seeks to construct alternative perspectives and open new ways of thinking about architecture and its cultural context.
